Maria Teresa Iorio is an italian PhD student in the Institute of Applied Chemistry at TU Wien since November 2015. Now she excellently finished her thesis under the supervision of Marko Mihovilovic in collaboration with Margot Ernst, her MolTag Co-Supervisor at Medical University.
Maria Teresa worked on the synthesis of novel ring structure as GABA-A receptor ligands, she spent her internship abroad in the lab of Christopher Ahern in Iowa and her lab rotation in the group of Harald Sitte at Medical University of Vienna.
