Aljoša Smajić worked on his PhD thesis "Machine Learning Approaches for Off-Target and Bioactivity Predictions" in the group of his supervisor Gerhard Ecker.
He completed a 4-month MolTag internship at BAYER AG in Berlin, from which he returned in January 2024.

Theres Friesacher completed her doctorate in Anna Weinzinger's group. She was funded by a DOC scholarship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She brilliantly defended her doctoral project "Novel approaches to investigate the regulation of G-protein coupled inward rectifier K+ channels by Gβγ" on August 13th, 2024.
Theres spent 6 weeks on a MolTag internship at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology; Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and another 6 weeks at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen.
